Flow and Body

Flow and Body (front and back views),
Paint on Acetate over Black Paper, 22 x 14 in., 2007
________________________________________

As promised and now that I have good pics, here is a piece painted in the past few weeks. The figure and white flowing curving form are painted on acetate, or shiny plastic. For the purpose of creating a digital image, the painting on acetate is displayed on black paper so that it may be easily seen. The piece would normally be displayed without the black paper so that both sides can be viewed by walking around the art. So both sides are shown above.

I know I have much to say about this work.. but for now I'd rather let the work speak for itself.

This artwork or laser copies can be purchased - see my complete profile for contact info. and email me for details.

Well seeing the art work .. it gives fuel to ones imaginations !
I feel that it is an awesome means to trigger ones thoughts ..
After seeing the picture i feel that man a norma human being who lives in the materialistic world will be always subject to such negative thoughts and actions and reactions(the white/acetate) It tries to control you .. but man who has the strength to run his soul and thereby actions will be able to crush these thoughts as is done in the painting ..:)
well jst a thought do not mind .. hope its k

Hi Steve!
It is not easy for me to explain in English what I want to say, what I feel. My English is so fresh(bad) yet. But I try to say that your Arts are amazing me how creative your spirit is. We need to know our's body energy. Knowing it we can even change our life and walk away from the old(bad) life to a new beginning.
Denis Waitley:
"One of the best ways we can get the most from the energy we have is to focus it. That is what goals can do for us; concentrate our energy".
All the best to you!

Steve, If you painted this on shiny plastic, it would look like a 3D ?

In this case, will you cut it out and let it stand straight, so that people can view from any angle?

Just my imagination.

You are so productive! I can't even get a new post out every week these days and here you are painting multiple paintings. And nice ones too!

Hi Kozi Wolf,
Thank you for visiting my blog and sharing your experiences.
I hadn't heard of the torodoil energy field and was unable to find any info on the internet. But I was able to find Gregg Braden - the author of the book you mention on YouTube. I listened to a number of discussions he was engaging in via YouTube. It was pretty interesting, the ideas of interconnection taken further than I had heard. Thanks for mentioning that book. I learned something as a result.
As far as my art goes, you asked about the yellow swirls... what are they. I suppose it would be unfair of me to just insert here what I was thinking about when I painted the artwork.. rather, I ultimately leave you the viewer with enough information to add your own meaning.
Yes, there is a story, but I am saving it for the full story, including that and many other artworks, when I am ready.
I hope to see you again Kozi Wolf.
Best,
Steve
