Ready to Fly
Hi. I don't want to ruin the progression of art with words in between, so I am writing titles and whatnot at the end here.
From top: "Letting Go," Paint in Plexiglas tray, 20 x 14 in., 2008.
"Night Sky," Paint on paper, 30 x 20 in., 2008
"Cosmic Hand," Paint on paper, 30 x 20 in., 2008
"Steve #2," Digital image, 2008
"Steve #3 (Ready to Fly)," Digital image, 2008
I am planning to make books and prints of these and other images on my blog. Email me for more information about getting your own prints. I do plan to post more information as the books and prints become available.
Also, I'd like your feedback. I wonder if you could help me with your opinion about Steve #2 and Steve #3. Which one do you prefer?
Thanks and Ready to Fly,
Steve

Steve,
Interesting as usual! First of all thanks for your vulnerability in showing yourself so truly! I prefer Steve #3! It appears brighter bc the background is cut away?
And I really enjoy the top piece in particular, "Letting Go". There is something about the texture. It seems so fluid. I feel as though I might want to be in an installation where I am surrounded by this texture as well as the texture in "night sky". There's a lot to be experienced there.
Sarah,
Thanks. I really value your thoughtful replies. Thanks for sharing and for your preference. An installation would be great, it's not the first time I thought of doing some of my work very large for people to experience. Take care.

Hey Steve,
Wasn't expecting to see such liberal pictures! Wow! I simply do not have the guts to display myself so openly for the public. Well, more power to you. I realize it is art. But... I am just a little shocked. A great piece for the "Sex Museum" in NY City. Actually, I have never been inside.... just noticed it from the street.
Wow!
Excellent post, Steve, excellent!
I love it!
Happy day
