________________________________

I can't help but think of the bleak days and the cold days here in Chicago when I look at these paintings. They were as difficult to keep going on as it is to get out of bed some days. Alas, when I estimate their value, they helped me cope with a few winter days.. and gave me something greater to put my energy toward.

I plan on showing these and other paintings in various establishments in Chicago. I will update my blog with photos when the shows go up. Happy New Year friends!

Hi Steve!
Thank you for your wishes and supportive words about Kevin. I'm so glad and appreciate it.

I'm so glad to be here and see your beautiful paintings. From them emanated a good, helpful energy for these winter, bleak days.

Steve! I love what you did with the winter in Chicago. The clouds or snowfall looks like it's dancing. Nice movement. Very nice!
Miss you.
Respect.

Happy New Year to you, too, Steve.

I really like both paintings. Each has lovely movement, they just flow! These may be my favorites of all time! Gee, if this is what winter in Chicago does for your expression, you must go back every winter if you leave.

:)

Thanks Lyn. I surely appreciate your comment. Glad you enjoy. I sometimes joke that I moved here for the cold winter and will go back to California for the hot summer. :^D See you later.

Hi Steve!
It has been awhile since my last visit. I love the paintings (especially the 1st one with blue & white). Just wondering if you watched 20/20 on Friday night regarding the "Bodies in Exhibition" in NY & other locations? It was an undercover investigation on where & how the bodies were obtained secondary to the bodies on exhibit appearing to be those of young individuals in their "prime" from China. It is so sad because I thought these bodies were donated with consent prior to death and/or unclaimed bodies (i.e. homeless bodies found without known family). Anyhow let me know if you watched it and what you thought.
On a happier & brighter note,
take care & many good wishes to you when your show goes up (if it hasn't already being it is mid Feb. already). Peace

Kuan,
Glad to see you. Thanks for your visit.

David,
Hello and thank you for your visit and comment. Best to you.

Hi Anon,
I have seen and enjoyed the bodies exhibit (in Tampa, FL) and just heard a little about the origins of the bodies. I did not see 20/20 and I don't know the details on how the bodies were obtained. You'll have to catch me up on that.
Glad to hear from you.
Steve
